I'm certain that the file is not corrupted, but I'm not certain of the way of the compression.I think like you explained before:1- filename2- compressed to filename.7z3- compressed again and split to filename.7z.001 filename.7z.0074- renamed somehow to filename001.rar filename007.rar5- I come here not able to do anything with the file:(I'm also certain about #3 because of the file header, Linux detected the type automatically and 7-z agreedwhen I get filename.7z it also contains the same header which makes me wondering why after merging using 7-z the header was not removed? It's exactely the same header also wondering why in some point the Linux version request me a password to extract the filename.7z.001 instead of going directly and extract like it does with the command 'e' in the terminal.
